What is FWMN?
Fashion Week MN (FWMN) is a community-driven initiative celebrating the talent of the Minnesota fashion industry and creative community. Every spring and fall, FWMN organizes a week-long installment of events showcasing the designers, brands, retailers, producers, stylists, artists, influencers, models, photographers and other creatives who are elevating the Minnesota style scene.
We believe that supporting the local fashion industry helps develop strong connections between local retailers, brands, designers, makers, advocates and consumers, helping in turn to strengthen the local economy.
The mission of FWMN is to foster an interconnected local fashion community that celebrates and supports the established Minnesota fashion industry and creative community and breeds opportunity for those emerging on the scene.
We want the fashion community in Minnesota to feel approachable. Each season, we curate a lineup of events that celebrates diverse forms of creative expression and gives voice to divergent viewpoints through the lens of fashion. We believe in supporting a community that values small businesses, creativity, diversity, inclusivity, sustainability and ethical business practices.
