Fashion Week MN (FWMN) is a semi-annual program with a mission of community engagement, promoting the shop-local movement and showcasing the talent of the Minnesota fashion industry and creative community. Every September and April, we curate a week of programming showcasing some of the best Minnesota designers, brands, makers and retailers, as well as producers, stylists, artists, models, influencers, photographers and other creatives working within the local fashion industry.
We believe that supporting the local fashion industry helps develop strong connections between local retailers, brands, designers, makers, advocates, and consumers, helping to strengthen the local economy.
Consumers can be confident their Minnesota-made purchases are ethically and sustainably made, crafted with care, and made to last. Our mission is to bring everyone together to make that happen.
We believe in supporting a Minnesota fashion industry that values small businesses, designers and makers as well as creativity, diversity, inclusivity, sustainability, ethical business practices and serving the greater good.
How we are funded
Fashion Week MN is 100% community fueled. Local organizations, sponsors, volunteers, producers, designers, consumers, advocates, and the media all help make FWMN possible. If you are interested in getting involved as a sponsor or volunteer to help support our mission, visit our Contact page.
