Sustainable boho-inspired brand Kindred Folk tells the story of their latest FW17 collection, Numina, with an intimate runway show at Showroom. Numina: when fashion is expressed as an intimate ceremony, everyone becomes a conduit. Our wish is to lead toward new shapes of self, toward new forms of being and doing. This fall/winter presentation includes jackets, sweaters, flares and handbags made from hand dyed and vintage textiles. The complete collection will be available to purchase immediately after the show. Guitarists Thomas Nordlund and Ben Abrahamson will perform original live music, runway side. Poetry by Nayyirah Waheed will be read by Freya Ershadi Inanna. The show is sponsored in part by Harriet Brasserie and Famiglia Meschini Wines. With Ignite Models, Hairpolice, Midwest Makeup Supply, and stylist Emily Kanz.
Very limited seating will be available. Tickets include small bites and sips. Tickets can now be ordered or purchased exclusively through Showroom by phone at 612-345-7391 or in-store at 615 W.
