Fashion Week Minnesota

Fashion Week MN (FWMN) is a media platform created in 2015 that celebrates, connects and inspires the local fashion community. The Spring 2024 edition of our flagship event series takes place April 14–20 with a lineup of diverse, engaging events that includes fashion shows, presentations, and shopping events. FWMN’s year-round programming includes educational panel events, shopping events, and social media content that spotlights local fashion designers, makers and retailers.

Our Mission

The mission of FWMN is to shine a light on local fashion designers, makers, retailers, artists and creators, and to help foster a thriving fashion community. Community is at the core of our mission. We continually strive to cultivate a more representative, more equitable fashion ecosystem in the Twin Cities area, fueled by a vibrant, engaged, welcoming fashion community.

Our Vision

We strategically present fashion of Minnesota with the focus and support built on five strong pillars:

  • Education: to provide fundamental tools and material for the community to be successful and equal opportunity

  • Innovation: to launch a series of diverse forms in fashion while recognizing creative expression that provides a global perspective

  • Business: to provide support for individuals and small businesses opportunities on a local to a global scale

  • Investment: to improve the inclusivity of the local fashion community so that it may support and curate an approachable form of creative expression
