FWMN (Fashion Week Minnesota) is a semi-annual initiative from a collective of independent producers and designers with a goal of engaging the Minnesota fashion community and celebrating the best designers, brands, retailers, stylists, and producers in Minnesota fashion through a series of public events. The inaugural Fashion Week Minnesota was held September 2015 in Minneapolis, MN. Fashion Week MN: Spring 2016 will be held April 9-16, 2016.

Sarah Edwards

FWMN Co-Founder, Co-Director + Event Producer

Sarah Edwards is an entrepreneur that creates experiences that intertwine community, art,philanthropy and style. A few of her projects include I AM MPLS!, I AM ST. PAUL!, and I AM Kindness. Sarah is fueled by the adventurous energy and collaborative spirit of the Twin Cities. She hopes to create a new environment in which we are closer connected to resources and people that can make our dreams a reality.

Jahna Peloquin

FWMN Co-Founder + Co-Director

Jahna Peloquin is the Style Editor for Minnesota Monthly magazine, co-founder of Fashion Week MN, and a freelance writer and stylist in the Twin Cities. Over the past decade, Jahna has been a leading voice in the local fashion industry, particularly in her roles as a weekly contributing stylist and writer for alt-weekly (2007-2015) and the lead stylist for Voltage: Fashion Amplified (2007-2011). Her work has been published in Star Tribune, Pioneer Press, Midwest Home, Minnesota Bride, and METRO Magazine, and she has been recognized as a Twin Cities Style Maker by the American Craft Council in American Craft Magazine.

Brooke Herbert

FWMN Social Media Coordinator

As an inspiring public relations undergrad, Brooke seeks opportunity through directing the social media for Fashion Week MN. She plans to use her creativity, drive, and passion to promote this spring’s fashion week. Brooke attends the University of Minnesota and enjoys the countless amenities Minneapolis has to offer. In hopes of someday directing runway shows for New York Fashion Week, you can find her researching trends and expanding her knowledge on all things fashion related. Becoming a true fashionista and following these steps are a few ways she plans to make her dream a reality.

Anna Lee, Ruby3 + Workerby

Workerby is a product development studio that builds community and commerce through creative business development consulting and workshops. Founded in 2015 by Anna Lee, Workerby provides services in trend, design, technical development, and prototyping, with an emphasis in hats. Lee’s past projects include establishing Voltage: Fashion Amplified in 2004, MN Fashion Weekend (later MNfashion Week) in 2005, and MNfashion in 2006. This fall, Workerby represents Ruby3, the celebrated line of hats Lee has been creating for nearly two decades. &

Allison is the director and founder of Ignite Models, and has been co-producing the semi-annual Envision fashion show since 2006. Founded in 2008, Ignite is a boutique model agency based in Minneapolis representing women and men for editorial, runway, and commercial print. Ignite Models discovers and develops young women and men for placement with prestigious agencies in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Cape Town. &

John Mark

FWMN Co-Founder + Event Producer

John Mark is a Writer and Art Director at Lavender Magazine and Creative Director for Hotrocity, an online store that supports local jewelry designers. When not producing content or collaborating in the local fashion community, he can be found working with Lizzo on choreography for her tours and music videos or dreaming up new performing arts events at Public Functionary, the Lab Theater, or The Weisman Art Museum.
