The word "mosaic" traditionally refers to a combination of diverse elements coming together to create a whole unit. This representation of unity through diversity is at the heart of Mosaic's mission to provide an inclusive space for all. Founders Chanti Miller, David O'Neil, and Phuong O'Neil wanted to ensure their venue offered a versatile space tailored to any occasion, from weddings and corporate events to cultural celebrations and fashion shows. What sets Mosaic apart from other event venues in the city is their dedication to inclusivity and their belief that everyone deserves a space to celebrate life's special moments.
The best solutions often stem from real-life problems; this was the case with Mosaic, a venue founded with a purpose. While looking for their wedding venue, David and Phuong faced challenges finding a space that accommodated traditional Vietnamese catering while utilizing the location they wanted. The venues they encountered had a predetermined list of caterers and an American setup that did not allow for the flexibility they needed. To overcome this, they opted for a backyard wedding in the morning with traditional elements and transitioned to an American venue in the evening. A decade later, when Phuong's niece encountered similar problems, they realized a gap in the market that needed to be filled. Phuong, David, and Chanti collaborated to establish Mosaic, an event space that truly caters to everyone.

The team at Mosaic works closely with event planners and clients to ensure that each detail is tailored to their specific vision, and their attention to detail is second to none. In addition to providing a beautiful space, Mosaic is dedicated to their community. They have a knack when hosting events from weddings to fashion shows, including Ramadhan “Rammy” Mohamed, a Fashion Week Minnesota veteran. Mosaic’s co-founder, Chanti, noted, “This is a space for everyone. We are here to provide a venue where our patrons can show up 100% themselves.” At Mosaic, celebrating diversity and making a positive impact is at the forefront of everything they do.
